Removed the unverified "Chartered Accountant (ACA)" credential from the reviewer byline (LastUpdated.tsx, AuthorReviewer.tsx and authors.ts). No one at this site holds a checkable accountancy qualification, so we stopped implying one. Pages with no clear written-or-reviewed claim now fall back to the editorial team byline instead of a named expert.

Published an author page for Dr Lila Sharma at /author/lila-sharma/ carrying only what is actually verified about her, and rewired page bylines so calculators and guides stop crediting a named expert where no written-or-reviewed claim exists.

Added inline source citations next to the load-bearing figures on our highest-traffic pages, linking the specific GOV.UK, HMRC or SLC page rather than a generic footer link.

Corrected postgraduate Master's and Doctoral Loan figures site-wide: several pages were pairing a real historic loan maximum with the wrong academic year label. Added POSTGRADUATE_LOAN_MAX (2022/23 to 2026/27) to student-loans.ts as the single source of truth, current 2026/27 figures are £13,206 (Master's) and £31,122 (Doctoral). Also corrected the Northern Ireland tuition fee cap to £4,985 for 2026/27 and the Wales tuition fee cap to £9,790 for 2026/27 (same as England); Wales does not have a distinct lower cap.

RPI updated to the March 2026 figure of 4.1%, in force 1 Sept 2026 to 31 Aug 2027 (DfE announcement 10 August 2026). Plan 1, Plan 4 and Plan 5 move from 3.2% to 4.1%; Plan 2 slides 4.1% to 7.1% uncapped but is held at the 6% cap; Postgraduate uncapped 7.1%, capped 6%.
